Jeffrey Gertner, MD, FAAD

Dr. Gertner attended the US Naval Academy and the military’s medical school, Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences (USUHS). He then served as a physician in the Navy until his recent retirement from the military.

He completed his residency in dermatology at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and afterwards served as a staff member providing training to residents, interns, and medical students. Subsequently, the Navy assigned him to various hospitals and clinics across the US.

His favorite days in clinic include working with patients to find a treatment that truly improves their quality of life and he is excited to join SmithCare to have the opportunity to provide dermatology services in a personal clinic setting.
